One of the guys at the local bike shop in town had a set of Jandd Large Mountain Panniers for sale. He only wanted like $50 for the pair. They are barely even used. I put them on my commuter bike (which I am going to use for some light touring) and off I went to the grocery store. I was able to put four paper grocery bags worth of food in these panniers and still have a little room left over. The best part is that they are expandable if you need more volume. I am very happy with this purchase.
